Paneer Lifafa Recipe
Ingredients:
- 100 grams paneer, grated
- 1/4 cup blanched spinach, chopped
- 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Some coriander leaves, chopped
- Whole wheat dough
- Oil, for brushing
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the paneer, spinach, mozzarella cheese, salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, onion, and green chillies. Mix well.
- Take a ball of whole wheat dough and roll it out into a thin circle.
- Place a handful of the paneer mixture in the center of the circle.
- Fold the circle in half, then fold it in half again, so that you have a square.
- Brush the square with oil.
- Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
- Place the square on the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Serve hot with butter, ghee, or achaar.
Tips:
- For a spicier version, add more green chillies or Badshah chaat masala.
- To make the lifafa more crispy, cook them for an additional minute or two per side.
- You can also add other vegetables to the paneer mixture, such as carrots, peas, or corn.
