The Bhuna mutton recipe is a relatively simple dish to make, but it does require some time and patience. The key to making good bhuna mutton is to cook the mutton slowly over low heat so that it becomes tender and flavorful. The spices are also essential, and you should use good quality garam masala or bhuna masala powder.

Bhuna Gosht Ingredients:

  • 500-gram mutton, cut into cubes
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons mustard oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 black cardamoms
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5-6 cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Badshah Nawabi Meat masala
  • 2 teaspoons curd
  • 2-3 green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 1 teaspoon kewra water

Bhuna Mutton Recipe Instructions:

  1. Heat the mustard oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and bay leaves and cook for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the onions and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened and translucent.
  4. Add the mutton and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, and Badshah Nawabi Meat masala. Mix well to coat the mutton in the spices.
  6. Add the curd and green chilies and mix well.
  7. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is tender and the gravy has thickened.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and kewra water.
  9. Serve hot with naan or rice.

Tips to make Bhuna Gosht Indian Recipe:

  1. For a more flavourful bhuna mutton, you can marinate the mutton in the spices for a few hours before cooking.
  2. You can also add some chopped tomatoes to the bhuna mutton for extra flavor.
  3. To make the bhuna mutton even more tender, you can pressure cook it for 20-30 minutes before adding it to the gravy.
