Spotted Idli
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic & Green chilly crushed
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Coriander chopped
- 1 tsp Badshah Kitchen King Masala
- Idli Batter as required
Method:
- In a pan heat up the oil and add your onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly.
- Once they have begun to brown add your chopped tomato.
- Once the tomatoes have broken down add red chilly powder, haldi, lemon and mix it together.
- Add your butter and once that is melted the lemon juice.
- Add the chopped coriander, Badshah Kitchen King Masala and mix through.
- Add salt to taste.
- Now separate the mixture into four mounds.
- Pour enough idli batter on the mounds till they are just covered.
- Put the heat on medium-low and cover with a lid for five minutes.
- Use a clean knife to check if they are cooked. If not cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve your delicious treat while hot.
