Spotted Idli

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Method:

  1. In a pan heat up the oil and add your onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly.
  2. Once they have begun to brown add your chopped tomato.
  3. Once the tomatoes have broken down add red chilly powder, haldi, lemon and mix it together.
  4. Add your butter and once that is melted the lemon juice.
  5. Add the chopped coriander, Badshah Kitchen King Masala and mix through.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Now separate the mixture into four mounds.
  8. Pour enough idli batter on the mounds till they are just covered.
  9. Put the heat on medium-low and cover with a lid for five minutes.
  10. Use a clean knife to check if they are cooked. If not cook for 2 more minutes.
  11. Serve your delicious treat while hot.
