Matar Makahna Curry

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Method:

  1. Cut your onions and tomatoes into even pieces and roast till they are slightly browned.
  2. Blend the roasted veggies into a smooth puree.
  3. In a hot pan add oil followed by jeera and hing.
  4. Roast for a minute and add the remaining spices, roasting till they are aromatic.
  5. Add the puree and let the mixture cook for two minutes till it is slightly reduced
  6. Add the malai and continue to cook for two minutes.
  7. Add the water and bring to a boil
  8. Once the mixture has come together add cooked peas and roasted makhana
  9. Cook for one minute and add the coriander leaves.
  10. Garnish with more makhana and enjoy!
