Paneer Khurchan
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Oil
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger crushed
- 1 tsp Garlic crushed
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1 tbsp Paneer Butter Masala
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Water
- 100 g Tomato Puree
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 Capsicum sliced
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Method:
- Heat a pan or tawa and add oil and 1 tsp ghee.
- Add jeera and 2 bay leaves and heat until they start to splutter.
- Add your chopped onions along with ginger, garlic and green chilli. Cook till translucent.
- Add red chill powder, garam, masala, 1 tbsp of coriander powder and turmeric powder and paneer butter masala. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Add a little bit of water if you see the spices burning.
- Add tomato puree and salt as per taste. Cook the puree well for 10 minutes. Add water if required.
- Make space in the center and add sliced capsicum and onions.
- Mix well, let them cook and then add 1 tsp ghee, kashmiri red chilli powder and paneer.
- Then add 2-3 tbsp cream, kasuri methi, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
