Beetroot Falafel

Cooking time: 15-20 m

Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas – 1 cup
  • Beetroot – 1 medium
  • Onion – 1 medium
  • Green Chilli – 2 nos.
  • Garlic – 4-5 cloves
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Chaat Masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil for greasing purposes.

Method:

  1. Take overnight soaked chickpeas, Grated Beetroot, chopped Onion, Green Chilli, Garlic, and Coriander leaves.
  2. Make a coarse paste.
  3. Add Sesame seeds, Black pepper powder, Garam Masala, Chaat Masala, and Salt. Mix everything well.
  4. Grease hands with oil, Take some mixture & give it a shape.
  5. Add them to the Air fryer basket.
  6. Brush oil above the falafel.
  7. Air fry it at 180 c for 20 minutes.
  8. Serve them hot with your choice of chutney.
